Village of Lawton is pleased to offer another method for its residents and customers to receive their monthly sewer & water utility bill(s). By submitting the form, your monthly utility bill will be electronically sent via e-mail to the address provided. If you choose to do so, this will eliminate paper bills.
Before the COVID-19 stay at home order, we were making progress on the Splash Pad construction. Here’s where we are now: Welburn Excavating has completed the excavation of the site including additional dirt brought in to assist in water drainage. However, due to the restrictions on nonessential businesses, we anticipate further construction will be delayed. We will keep you posted. Due to the “stay home, stay safe” executive order (https://www.michigan.gov/whitmer/0,9309,7-387-90499_90705-522626–,00.html) , We want to remind you that open burning is not allowed in the Village of Lawton.
Burning yard debris is a top cause of wildfires in Southwest Michigan. By being especially vigilant, we will limit the risk of exposing first responders to coronavirus and make sure trained personnel and equipment are available to assist with COVID-19 response as needed.
